Trial & Subscription Policy
This policy covers the Digital Ring Builder subscription. It explains the free trial, the automatic renewal, the reminders we send, and exactly what happens if you cancel.
Effective Date: 14 August 2026 · Last Updated: 14 August 2026
On this page
The short version. Your first 30 days are free. After that the subscription costs $99 per month and it renews automatically until you cancel it. We warn you by email and inside the dashboard 7 days, 3 days and 1 day before every single charge. You can cancel at any time and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
1. The free trial
- Every new account starts with a free trial of 30 days.
- The trial is completely free. We charge nothing during it.
- The trial gives you the full platform. We hold nothing back.
- We collect a payment method when you sign up, so that your storefront keeps working the moment the trial ends. We do not charge that payment method during the trial.
- The trial runs once per business.
- If you buy the Prototypes Kit, you receive a further 30 days of subscription at no charge.
2. Price and billing period
After the trial the Digital Ring Builder costs $99 per month, billed in advance. Applicable taxes are added at checkout. We issue a tax invoice for every charge and you can download it from your dashboard.
3. Automatic renewal
Automatic renewal is switched on by default. Your free trial converts to a paid subscription automatically at the end of the 30 days. Your paid subscription then renews automatically at the end of every billing period. Renewal continues until you actively cancel.
We do this so that a storefront never goes dark in the middle of a customer consultation. You stay in control: you can cancel at any time, from the dashboard or by email, and we tell you before every charge.
4. Reminders before every renewal
Before each renewal, including the one at the end of your free trial, we send you three reminders. Each one goes to your registered email address and appears as a notification inside your dashboard.
| When | How we tell you | What it says |
|---|---|---|
| 7 days before | Email and in-app notification | Your trial or subscription renews on the stated date and we will charge $99. Cancel if you do not want to continue. |
| 3 days before | Email and in-app notification | The same reminder, with the renewal date and the amount. |
| 1 day before | Email and in-app notification | A final notice before we charge the payment method on file. |
Every reminder carries a direct cancellation link. You never have to search for one.
5. How to cancel
You can cancel at any time, and cancelling takes one step. Choose either route:
- Open your dashboard and cancel the subscription there.
- Or write to support@attheatelier.com from your registered email address.
We confirm every cancellation by email. There is no cancellation fee, no notice period and no telephone call to sit through.
6. What happens after you cancel
Until the end of the period you paid for
Nothing changes. Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not cut your access short. You keep the full platform until the last day of the billing period you have already paid for.
When that period expires
- Your access to the admin panel ends. When you sign in, the panel prompts you to start a new monthly subscription.
- We send an in-app notification confirming that the trial or subscription has ended, with a link to resubscribe.
- We send an email on the day of expiry, also carrying a resubscription link.
We charge nothing after a cancellation. There is no exit fee and no further billing.
7. What your customers see
We protect your brand. If your subscription lapses, the ring builder on your storefront shows a "work in progress" state to your end customers. It never mentions an expired subscription, an unpaid invoice or At the Atelier. Your customers see a feature that is being worked on, and nothing more.
8. Coming back
You can resubscribe at any time from the link in the expiry email or from the prompt in the admin panel. Your storefront settings, your saved designs and your order history are waiting where you left them, and your builder returns to your customers immediately.
9. Dormant accounts
If an account stays cancelled for more than 60 days without resubscribing, we remove the ring builder widget from your storefront entirely. We do this so that a dormant storefront does not carry a permanent "work in progress" panel.
Removing the widget does not delete your account or your history. Write to us and we will restore the widget when you resubscribe.
10. Your data
Your saved designs, your order history and your storefront settings stay with your account after a cancellation. We keep them so that you can return without setting the store up again, and we keep the order and invoice records for the period that Indian law requires. You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time. See the Privacy Policy.
