The Prototypes Kit
A physical set of sample ring parts for the counter. The customer designs on screen, then holds the real shape in their hand. It is a one-time purchase and we ship it to your business address.
1. What is in the Kit

Each piece is a non-precious sample prototype. It shows the shape, the proportion and the feel of the design. It carries no diamond and it is not for resale.
2. Why it helps you sell
- It settles the size question. A customer who is unsure about a 1.5 carat stone can see the head at true scale.
- It joins the screen to the hand. The customer picks a shank on screen, then puts the same shank on their finger.
- It fills the display case without stock. The counter looks complete, and you still hold no precious inventory.
3. Price and order credit
The Kit costs $1,500 as a single payment. You earn the whole amount back:
- We credit $1,500 to your account as order credit.
- We apply $100 off every custom ring order that you place with us, until the credit is used.
- Around fifteen orders in, the Kit has paid for itself.
- Kit buyers also receive 30 days of the Digital Ring Builder subscription at no charge.
Order credit is tied to your account. It is not transferable, it cannot be exchanged for cash, and it needs an active subscription to use. Read the Refund & Cancellation Policy for the full terms.
4. Extension kits
As our catalogue grows we offer extension kits that add the new heads and shanks to the set you already hold. We price and quote these separately. Write to support@attheatelier.com.
5. Who can buy it
The Kit is a business-to-business product. We sell it to a registered jewellery business that holds an active Digital Ring Builder subscription or that is starting one. We do not sell the Kit to the general public.
6. Shipping
We dispatch the Kit within 10 business days of a confirmed payment and we send the courier name and the tracking number by email on the day of dispatch. The full terms, including the delivery windows for India and for other countries, are in the Shipping & Delivery Policy.
7. Returns
All sales of the Prototypes Kit are final once we dispatch it. If the Kit arrives damaged, or if the shipment does not match your order, tell us within 7 days of delivery and we will replace the affected pieces at our own cost. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
