The Digital Ring Builder
A branded storefront with a live 3D ring configurator that a jeweller runs on the shop floor, next to the customer. It is a software service. We deliver it over the internet and we bill it every month.
1. What the platform does
A jeweller subscribes and receives a storefront on their own branded subdomain of our platform, carrying the jeweller's name, logo and colours. Inside that storefront sits a three-dimensional engagement-ring configurator.
During a sales consultation the jeweller opens the storefront on a laptop or a tablet and works through the design with the customer. The customer selects each part of the ring and watches the result render in real time:
- The diamond — shape, carat size, and a laboratory-grown or a natural stone.
- The head — the setting that holds the stone, from a catalogue of 30 designs.
- The shank — the band of the ring, from a catalogue of 18 designs.
- The metal — yellow gold, white gold, rose gold or platinum, in several karat grades. A two-tone ring can carry one metal on the head and another on the shank.
- The matching band — no band, a single band, or a double band that mirrors the shank.
- The finishing details — the ring size and an engraving.
The price updates on screen with every change, so the customer always sees what the ring costs before they commit.
2. Augmented-reality try-on
The customer can point the camera at their own hand and see the ring they just designed sit on their finger. This removes the largest doubt in a custom order, which is how the ring will look when it is real.
3. Your brand, not ours
The storefront carries the jeweller's logo, the jeweller's colours and the jeweller's own web address. The end consumer sees the jeweller's shop, not a third-party tool. We do not advertise to the jeweller's customers and we do not sell to them.
4. The order dashboard
Every design that a customer saves lands in the jeweller's dashboard. From there the jeweller can:
- Review the full specification of a saved ring, including the SKU, both metals, the stone and the ring size.
- Share a design with the customer by a link or by WhatsApp.
- Turn a saved design into a manufacturing order with us.
- Follow each ring through production and shipping. Every ring in an order tracks separately.
- Download an invoice for each payment.

6. What you need to run it
A reasonably modern computer or tablet, a current web browser and an internet connection. We sell no hardware and we require none. There is nothing to install.
7. Price and trial
The Digital Ring Builder costs $99 per month. Every new account starts with a 30-day free trial. We charge nothing during the trial.
The trial and the paid subscription both renew automatically. We send a reminder by email and inside the dashboard 7, 3 and 1 days before each renewal, so a charge never arrives as a surprise. You can cancel at any time.
Read the details. The Trial & Subscription Policy sets out the renewal reminders, the cancellation process and exactly what happens to your storefront after a subscription ends.
8. Multi-store and groups
A jeweller with several locations, or a buying group, can ask for volume pricing, separate branding for each store and a guided rollout. Write to support@attheatelier.com.
The platform on its own does not make rings. It is the design and ordering tool. The manufacturing of a finished ring is a separate purchase. See Custom ring orders.
